 Costa Mesa has changed so much in fifty years. Here Is the LA Times facility as it appeared in 1968. The open area around the building is jaw dropping. In elementary school we had several field trips to the Voit factory which is seen here just North of the Times building.

If you zoom into that image you can just see the Voit sign. I was always so excited to receive a Voit ball when visiting. The street at the bottom of the image is Harbor Blvd. looking North East.
